A shader/effect made for the game 'OneOfUs'.

​

The texture was programmed to to spin, then collapse towards the centre - using a radial distance and the uv coordinates.  The code for the shader can be found here.

 

To add to the effect the lighting is interpolated to darken the scene, and the NPC's sprite is smoothly blended to a cult costume.
